Inspirational Message
The purpose of the Martha C. Gooding Foundation for Compassionate Nursing is to promote patient-centered compassionate nursing care: (1) by providing scholarships to deserving nursing students, and (2) through the education and training of nurses and nursing students on the importance of non-clinical aspects of patient care.
Foundation Details
The Foundation has been organized as a not-for-profit entity in the State of Texas. The Foundation has also received a section 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Donations and contributions to the Foundation are deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
